Saturday 12th December 2015
On a beautiful crisp weekend in December our beautiful bride and groom were married at their family home in Chute Standen. The wedding ceremony took place in a village church just up the road from their home where 120 guests witnessed their marriage. Guests were then invited to continue the wedding celebration at a drinks reception which was held in a gorgeous navy blue and gold star lined Raj Tent. As guest’s entered the tent they approached a mirrored central circular bar, with an incredibly decadent silver floral plinth provided by Rob Van Helden as a central feature, which became a focal point in the room. A December wedding wouldn’t be complete without an elaborately decorated real pine Christmas Tree situated towards the back of the Tent. Once the main speeches and thank-you’s were complete, an additional red and gold Raj tent was revealed on an upper level where guests were invited to dine in a banquet style layout. The glittering room was adorned with over 200 candles running down the centre of the long tables and stunning trees covered sparkling pea lights were a central focus of the room. After dinner guests were invited back down to the other tent where they had performances from a live band, and DJ who played them out into the early hours of the morning.
