On 23rd June one of the world’s greatest golfers Justin Rose and one of the biggest names in music, Niall Horan co-hosted their second fundraising dinner for 350 guests at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. Justin and Niall wereincredibly proud to come together again to raise money for Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens, a campaign that raises money for research into cancers affecting children and young people. We are so very proud to event produce such a prestigious charity event and announce that Horan and Rose has now raised £1.5 million for the charity over the last three years and the figure is still raising.

The money raised will help fund vital research projects and clinical trials, like the LuDO trial that’s testing a more targeted type of radiotherapy for children with neuroblastoma, which will hopefully reduce the side effects and make the treatment a little easier.

The midsummer party themed dinner was attended by high profile guests from the world of sport and entertainment where guests enjoyed the finest hospitality, an outstanding gold medal Olympic winners panel including Justin Rose, Sir Mo Farah and Lord Seb Coe hosted by Kirsty Gallacher and spectacular musical entertainment from Niall Horan and his band.

The concept for this year’s gala dinner took inspiration from a high end midsummer woodland garden party. Woodland inspired features for the press wall, auction display and DJ booths, a dramatic fundraising tree, bespoke H & R sign, real grass “red carpets” and oversized pastel tone balloons will create a playful, summer festival feel for the reception this year.

Guests then moved through to the dining room which was more of a magical midsummer nights garden party and concert. Swagging festoon, a woodland stage set, a selection of bespoke wooden tables incorporating trees, moss, fresh herbs, flowers and rustic candles will give the feeling of being outside inside.
