Oxfordshire I Wedding

English Country Wedding

Having both studied at the stunning Magdalen College of Oxford University, there seemed no more perfect setting than its stunning Chapel for our bride and groom to have their ceremony.  Despite showers, no spirits were dampened with 280 guests joining the couple for a drinks reception on the landmark New Buildings Lawn.

The guests were then transported back to a beautiful private house in the heart of Oxfordshire where the reception was topped off with a flypast with a personalised banner for the bride and groom. Dinner was served in the breath-taking orangery marquee, complete with flowing foliage canopy, hanging candle baubles, a large central tree and a bespoke bar. Dinner and speeches were followed by a surprise spectacular firework display.

The next part of the evening took place in a superb after-party marquee with stupendous lighting. The band transported the guests into the next part of their evening, leaving the dancefloor full throughout the evening.  As espresso martinis and Negron spagliato flew from the bar, those guests wanting a quieter chat, relaxed in the outdoor whisky area.  Complete with rugs and brown chesterfields, this created the perfect chill-out area.

Sore heads and smiling faces joined the next day to experience the beautiful brunch.  With abundant stations serving pizzas, a hangover station and not to forget the infamous iced coffee station with its own ‘pimp you coffee’ section.  This really was the perfect way to end a weekend full of happiness and love.
