GSP had the pleasure of working with Cancer Research UK to support them in producing the Emeralds & Ivy Ball on behalf of Ronan & Storm Keating, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK’s Cancer Awareness Roadshow and the Marie Keating Foundation. The chosen theme for the event was Vintage Carnival which took place at Battersea Evolution.
The entrance was transformed into a vintage style ticket booth, where guests were directed into the main drinks reception space. The reception area was designed as a pop-up fun fair. A bespoke vintage carousel bar was the central design feature, alongside plenty of vintage fun fair game booths with partners including Pol Roger and Sarah Ho. These included; hoopla, hook a duck, a bespoke lucky dip, coconut shy, a high striker and a wooden swing boat ride. Guests received vintage style fun fair tokens prior to the event which they could spend on different stalls. If they wanted to have more than one go they had the opportunity to purchase more tickets on the night, with the money going to the charity.
After the drinks reception, guests entered the elegant dining room decorated in vintage festoon lighting, with giant red and gold balloons suspended above each table. The striking ‘big top’ style stage set formed the perfect backdrop to an evening filled with incredible entertainment including a stunning silk acrobatic opening performance, followed by headline performances from Heather Small, Simple Minds and a closing set from Ronan Keating and his band.
The evening was a fantastic success, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity.
